Hello and happy New Year everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season as we have here in Hendersonville!

I want to thank everyone in Nashville who came out to support our Skeeter Davis Celebration at Douglas Corner this past Wednesday night on what would have been Skeeter's birthday! It was quite a night and the perfect way to end 2009 for me. We've got lots of cool pics up on my myspace and facebook pages. And we ARE making this an annual event...so we will be doing it again December 30, 2010...more details coming later on.

First, I would be sooooooooo grateful for your help with this! I spend enough time performing in Texas that I am eligible to be nominated for the Texas Music Awards! The awards show this year is in May and BJ Thomas will be hosting and performing. "Girls Like Us" was released in 2009, so it can be nominated for album of the year..you can also nominate me for female vocalist, singer/songwriter, or whatever else you think.

Everyone everywhere can catch me on the airwaves this week! I'll be joining my friend Kojack on Saturday morning, January 9, on his "Common Sense with Kojack" radio show, 10 a.m. EST...we'll be talking music, karate and who knows what else! And I'll be playing some songs live too. On Sunday evening, January 10, I'll be joining my friends Ken Connors and Cee Cee Severin plus some other musical guests for a very special "Progressive Roots Alive" radio show, from 7-10 p.m. EST.
