hi donna. i'm in charge of entertainment at starry night coffeehouse in westminster,md. although you had set your july 17 date with shannon ,the owner, i thought it only right to introduce myself and correspond with you prior in case you had any questions or concerns.i am a musician as well and my goal for this region is to keep live music in the forfront. i could remember years ago when live music was abundant around here but somehow got replaced by dj's and commercial radio. the kids today do not have the luxury of live music as well as artistic expression thru music and i'm trying to change that however i can.
if you haven't set a press kit yet, please do so and i will advertise your coming at starry night. i have already sent flyers out informing you as a ntl. recording artist. i must admit that the crowds here are somewhat light from time to time because most are outside in the evenings in the summer months. i am doing my best to draw people in with a successful open-mic and good variety of bookings weekly. please feel free to contact me if you need to have any more info. i generally make a rule of contacting our performers a week before and the day before their appearance. this is just a measure i implement to clear up any last minute concerns you might have. i look forward to hearing from you and hope you are having a great summer so far. additionally, you can reach me on my cell phone (443-340-5739) if would like.sincere regards, chris hurley
